The Tide Is High

The fine weather is holding, so I took the bike through to Barrow to meet Stu for a coffee. And rather than just grinding down the A590, I took the coastal road from Ulverston to Barrow.
For once, the tide was in, so I stopped off near Roosebeck to grab a photo. The sun was actually a bit too bright as the sea and sky were bluer than it looks.
Rehearsal for Blackadder tonight in Heysham, and I’m taking the bike again as the sun is still shining. But I’m putting an extra layer on and wearing warmer gloves, as it was very cold last night on the ride home. Once bitten, twice shy and all that…
