Hermitage of Braid Woodland Path

A wee bit of cloud to start, but it soon cleared. On the morning walk, remnants of mist highlighted beams of sunlight, but not enough to photograph. Inn shadows, the grass was still quite 

In the afternoon, it is very warm again. Partner and I walk down to the Hermitage of Braid. Then up away from the Braid Burn. It is very nice in the woodland. A last chance to see the woods in summer greenery. Extra shows the Braid Hills from the top of Blackford Hill. We then walked down to Morningside for a well earned cup of coffee and a cake. Back to work tomorrow.
