Probably the last one
As usual I planted morning glory seeds this year. The picture on the packet was cerulean blue. I guess there was just a mix up at the packaging factory. I like these, but not as much as the blue ones. I can’t see another flower bud, so I reckon this is the last.
Added to the natural melancholy of autumn, I’m really struggling with what’s happening in the world. Who isn’t. It doesn’t feel like safety, continuity, decency or kindness are to be available much longer. For many they have already ended. Feeling so troubled about the future, mine and everyone else’s. Trying to stay ok by gardening and listening to podcasts about science and maths.
Friday night film club this week : we watched ‘Rose’ a Danish film about a woman with schizophrenia, and her lovely sister who takes her on holiday to Paris despite many difficulties. For anyone who watched ’The Killing’ the stars who played Sarah Lund and Jan Meyer also star in this. Maybe there not many actors in Denmark:) Sophie Grabol is superb as the mentally unwell sister. Recommended.
