Damp
I went out into the garden this morning to retrieve the empty hedgehog feeding bowls from the feeding station after the overnight heavy rain had abated. It seemed a good time to try and find a blip so, after I’d returned the filled bowls, I went for a short stroll round the garden path with my camera.
This is the maple tree outside Smithers’ study which was looking particularly beautiful. I was glad I’d seized the moment because not long afterwards the weather dried up and the threatened thunderstorms haven’t (yet) materialised – although there’s still time – and I’ve not had much time for photography.
Yesterday afternoon we had a visit from our middle son and his family, and I was asked to mend a couple of L’s headbands for her, and make a wrist pincushion for little H, who had seen the one I made for myself and wanted one too, so that's what I've been up to this afternoon.
Oh, and I may have found the time for a little piano practice too.
