Magic

Today has been a long but succesfull day.  The new car was due it's first MOT so I dropped that off at the garage and then cycled into work.  The bike rack really is a game changer.  Luckily all came back clear and I didn't have to spend more more on the car this year!

We had the last of our staff strategy sessions at work today.  The morning was all breakouts and info gathering and for the first time we fit everyone into our new big meeting room. It all seemed to go down pretty smoothly.

In the afternoon we were treated to some entertainment by local magician Ryan Davidson who was more of the Derren Brown rather than Paul Daniels variety of magician. He was very good and had us laughing and wondering for a good hour and a bit.  I was given the job of photographer too, though I would have appreciated my own camera!  If anyone needs anything to do on Glasgow on a Friday night, I would recommend checking out Ryan's show - I'll definitley be getting some tickets when I can!

At home I enjoyed what was possibly the last of the summer weather by getting out on the bike for a very slow pedal around my favourite village loop.
