Plumber's mate......

Another one of those silly days weather wise. Not wet, just lingering mist and no wind.
A morning spent up on the hill trying to find why the water tank that supplies all the lower fields keeps on emptying. Eventually managed to find a leaking brass joint and replace it with a modern one. This was me opening up a joint to bleed the air out the pipe. My two helpers were watching closely.
Back home by lunch time via the fields to check the troughs were beginning to fill. Will check the tank again in the morning to see if it is still full and no more bursts.
Headed down the road to check all the wheat straw, but it is still too damp to bale.
The land rover got a puncture coming home ,so swerved into my contractor's to borrow his trolley jack and change the wheel.
Back home and emptied some of Kev's bales into the shed while he headed off for another load with the other trailer.
The extra is H14 ,newly calved and eating her afterbirth.
