Floral tribute
This is one of the two urns of beautiful flowers which were at the front of church on Monday for the service of thanksgiving for our friend. I had a closer view of them today when I went to mid-week communion.
I’ve managed to re-create the 1904 map of the Monkhams House estate by joining the six scans of it very carefully on a digital file on my Mac, as opposed to using Scotch tape on the printed version! I then reduced the size to fit an A3 sheet, which I’ve printed off with an explanatory heading. I’m really pleased, not only that I was able to print it for sharing with others, but also that I have now made a digital file of the map which is saved in the cloud for posterity.
After that I did more work on starting to transfer the pages of my daughter-in-law’s book into the Vellum app which automatically creates the book for printing.
Add a little bit of piano practice to the mix, and all in all I’ve had a productive day, and one which has exercised my little grey cells nicely, thank you!
