Preparing for Christmas!

Yesterday evening I went to the craft group at our local church hall….we made felt ornaments which will be put in pockets in a big advent calendar and will be raffled at the church fair apparently. We could choose which of the 25 patterns to make…I did the Christmas tree as I thought it would be quite easy. I did actually finish it there but most people had to take theirs home to complete. It was billed as a workshop making felt ornaments…I didn’t realise it was to contribute to one thing. Not sure how many people will be wanting it/ buy raffle tickets! I would not!

A friend came round and my hairdresser came to the house and did our hair.
Made another trip to Tesco as discovered the item I bought for my husband still had a tag on it! It  didn’t beep when I left the shop yesterday.

More sorting of things today…various newspapers etc some from 1940’s and others on dates when my children and grandchildren were born.

Off to the local theatre soon for a change, easier than going on the train.
