Shaggy dog sculpture at Savill Gardens

A very busy day…I went to pick up grandson from school and stay the night so that I can babysit. En route I visited a big Tesco and a garden centre with a Cotton traders and then I went to Savill Gardens at Windsor. Entrance is free in September to RHS members and I had not been in the garden for several years. Very few people there as raining on and off but it was a surprise that there was about 30+ sculptures from the Surrey sculpture Society on display. This was one of my favourites!  Taken in the sun before the next showers.

I had a truly horrendous time on the M4 in a thunderstorm, visibility was so bad plus so much water on the road that everyone was travelling at about 35-40mph. It passed after a while but not nice, particularly as this motorway now has no hard shoulder and lots of roadworks.

Got to grandsons school on time and rain had stopped but started again when we got home. He was very good having tea, bath and bedtime etc. their two kittens have grown a lot since our last visit..ver.y playful and have loud purrs!
