Dog-gone

Our visiting dog (the one on the left) went home at lunchtime today after her owners returned overnight from Gabon. We managed a walk on Blackford Hill in the morning on a beautiful crystal clear day. To the east we could see Berwick Law. To the west Ben Ledi and Ben Lomond were standing out on the horizon. The air was so still that the Forth looked calm and the vapours from Mossmorran were rising straight up.

Despite the snooty stance the dogs get on very well and are happy in each other’s company. A more standard photo attached. The house is just a bit quieter tonight and I might get more of a lie in in the morning!

Somewhat depressed to see Christmas decorations being put up in a local garden centre this afternoon! I suppose Christmas Day is 3 months away today!
