Wormcrossing
Worms Head, Rhossili Bay, accessible (for small values of accessible) only during low tide. As it happened the tides were perfectly timed for our plans today and we arrived at the right time to make a crossing with multiple hours to explore the other side.
We didn't bother with the most easterly part of the island (Outer Head) as that involved yet another, but somewhat rougher, crossing.
After we'd been there and back we continued around on a circular route with yet more spectacular cliffs and beaches, and yet more ice cream for lunch.
In the evening we walked from Mumbles round to a recommended café/restaurant in Langland's Bay for a celebratory meal, and then walked back the long way round the coast path with tinges of a distant sunset.
