The Shadow of Time
The morning light casting a shadow on a pottery clock gifted to Mum by her mum, representing Colmer’s Hill near Bridport, in Mum’s beloved Dorset.
Up early ready for the mechanic to collect my car at 8am. Waited until 8.45am, called him, he was running late and wasn’t going to make it. Will now come at 8am tomorrow. Grrrr...
Busy morning. District Nurse turned up while carer was here, just before supermarket delivery arrived. This afternoon hospice bereavement support zoom session hampered by various technical difficulties. Shared a birthday eclair with N the amazing homesitter. Ate the last of my homegrown potatoes, and, for my own record, tomatoes number 11-16.
Sunny morning, then the rain returned at lunchtime, a yellow warning wet night ahead. This evening the fire is lit to ward off the chill.
Thank you for your kind stars for yesterday’s Autumn display.
