It's a chilly, damp
day so best to stay indoors
safe from all trouble

My brother and I were enjoying our first cup of coffee together at 8 o'clock. The weather didn't look very promising with today being the coolest for the week. I organized a good place to go for breakfast and we were off in my car. 

With breakfast done and dusted, we decided to have a look in a clearance store that I'd not been in before. Right away, I discovered something that I told my brother he was getting for Christmas - a decorator rock! It sits 2 feet high and is hollow and black. My brother laughed. 

I continued cruising with my camera. I found stuffies with a coordinating snuggle blanket. I really like the highland coo!  I found Udderly Smooth, a creme lotion that was originally designed for dairy cattle, but has been largely embraced by quilters. There was an igloo-shaped plastic greenhouse, a safe that would do a bank proud and a huge supply of safety clothing for those of us needing a lot of attention. 

My brother came home with a pair of jeans and I have some tulip bulbs and a forbidden bag of caramel corn. 

We're back home for an afternoon nap and will consider dinner in the foreseeable  future.-
