John in a Combine

John is from farming stock so today, when passing a field of sunflowers with the combine harvester in action, we just had to stop! It wasn't long before the guys working stopped and gave J the opportunity to get in the cab as observer. My interest level waned after short time....
Later, we visited an excavated Roman villa with spectacular mosaics - this all fell apart with the decline in the Roman empire.
Now trying to sort my camera club triptych entries but will have to wait for WiFi...- not easy when touring around.
