Having missed the first lot of heavy rain to hit England in mid Sept, we got a lot of rain right at the end of Sept in North Norfolk with 67.6mm of rain for the month, 83% over the monthly average. This morning carried on with drizzly rain, so I worked indoors swapping over summer and winter clothing and doing more admin. Unexpectedly the rain then left off and I managed to spend an hour and a half weeding half of the wildflower garden - I got quite muddy! I got some bird photos for blip, but decided to use this 'error' of a fast moving long tailed tit as it made me smile.
