The Cushion Trick

Our two-seater sofa has adequate room for M, myself and Ziggy to sit on comfortably. That is, providing Ziggy positions himself in the gap between us.

That works well when M and I are both seated in position but otherwise it involves the strategic positioning of plumped-up cushions acting as our substitutes when either or both of us are absent to ensure he stays in the middle.

Well, of course we could just try and move him when we want to sit down, but moving a 6 kilo reluctant cat in a gentle and kind way is not as easy as you would think.
