Enlightenment
My blip today features an ‘immersive light show’ in St George’s Hall in Liverpool. To my shame, I’ve never been inside the hall before, and even without the enhancement of a light show, it’s a stunningly building.
We enter to find the centre of the hall is set out with rows of large beanbags shaped to allow us to lie down and look up at the magnificent ceiling. We opt for two in the centre and lie in surprising comfort.
Enlightenment - the name of the show - is fabulous, incredible shapes patterns and colours playing across the interior to the accompanying Four Seasons by Vivaldi. Colours and images link to each season: greens for spring, brilliant colours and flowers for summer, bronzes and falling leaves for autumn, and icy snow crystals for winter.
Show over, it’s off to Meols where G is doing yet more garden transformation while Daniel, Solveig and Lili enjoy their week in Center Parcs. We’re staying overnight as I have a Colorectal appointment in the Royal tomorrow morning. So sadly there’s no Lili here, but we’re getting photos on our family WhatsApp. Yesterday, there was Lili in her little cycle cart, pulled along by daddy, and today, there’sn her first time in a swimming pool - which she absolutely loves!
Many thanks for the lovely shown to yesterday’s autumnal Robin. Today’s main is a collage from ‘Enlightenment’, with an extra of a very excited Lili in her swimsuit together with a family post-swim shot!
