Chocolate Cake

Tomorrow is Hendrix's 7th birthday so today was some preparation. A chocolate cake was baked and we used a pot of Morrisons chocolate coating to put inside and around the outside of the cake.
It was coated while sitting on a baking wire thingy, not sure what it's called, with a plate beneath. The chocolate sauce ran down the outside and dripped onto the plate, and there was the bowl that Marlane had put it into so she could briefly microwave it to make it easier to spread. Both things were to the delight of the girls who pretty much cleaned the plate and bowl. I did taste it myself and it was very good, and much cheaper than the Betty Crocker tub next to it on the supermarket shelf.
