Shasta daisies...

...still hanging on! They are definitely flagging but have managed to light up the garden on many a grey day through the summer, and we've had plenty of those this year. It will soon be time to cut them down before winter sets in proper. I will miss them! If my shoulder will permit I'm intending to transplant some clumps in other parts of the garden as they are about the only thing that will compete with the tall weeds, the docks, thistles and nettles in the garden wilderness!
I'm not complaining as I am so lucky to be able to look out of my window at the garden and surrounding green hills.
