Cosmos

Today's the day ....................... to put the record straight

I can't come to the end of the season for garden flower blips and not have featured cosmos - one of my most favourite of them?

I was in the garden today on this loveliest of autumn days, beginning the job of hacking stuff back and getting things ready for the winter.  The cosmos are just beginning to get into their stride - very late for that I feel.  I was late in planting them, but they haven't been helped by the non-appearance of any actual summer weather this year.

So here's one - for the record - and just before they will disappear too.  A beautiful, flouncy, pink cosmos, looking as good as they always do ....................!
