Onwards further South to Munich to visit some friends we haven't seen in ages. Our local train to Nürnberg was well late, apparently a car had to be taken out because it was broken. So we used up all the plenty time we had to change in Nürnberg and missed our train to Munich. The local trains are covered by our rail pass and therefore it was our problem that we missed the train to Munich as it was a super saver. Luckily the friendly lady stamped our ticket (I am old school and prefer having a paper ticket as well). We made the next train South.

Sometimes Germans attach new meaning to English words with surprising results (see extra). We caught up with our friends and ended up chatting until quite late.
