A church with a view.
Clickychick is taking shots of the parish churches and views of the parish for use on the front of the magazine. Today she wanted interior shots of two churches in the team; Penruddock and Mungrisdale.
Both are tiny, in fact Penruddock was built as a "chapel of ease". St Kentigern's Mungrisdale is nestled right up against the fells (Bowscale fell and Souther fell). Unlike almost every church I have been in the East Window is clear glass. I think this was a stroke of genius on the part of whoever made the decision in the past. Who would want to block out such a view.
