An ordinary life....

My spirit animal...

Headed to Dundee early afternoon to look at a car.  The salesman J was lovely but I swear no older than 15!!!  Jeez I must be getting old!

Unfortunately the car we went to see didn't suit but an ex-demo in the showroom caught our attention and seemed perfect, but for reasons known only to someone higher up the sales food chain than J, the car was not for sale.  Very odd.  Oh well, what's for us won't go by us :-))

Stopped at Glendoick on the way home for lunch.  Their Christmas grotto is open!  Hahahahahahaha...I know people will moan about this and even for me who adores Christmas, it does seem a tad early, but it didn't stop me wandering in and going around all the displays (followed by a resigned D who kept sighing and muttering you have to be joking :-))  I was very good however, and didn't buy any Christmas decs.  I did buy two Christmas pressies though.  I've learned when I see something that I think a family member / friend would like, I buy it.  I know I will regret it if I don't.

We got home 10 minutes before Alan and Aliyah arrived with Alan's pal Andrew.  He's here till Wednesday and they're off on their annual trip to The Enchanted Forest tomorrow evening.  I hope it stays dry.

They had a great hydro session with Aliyah and Christine.  Much laughter :-)  Then watching films and eating pizza (well Andrew was eating pizza :-)  He's already talking about next year's summer holiday so I suspect a chunk of tomorrow will be him and David looking at holiday houses.

This evening I managed to get the baby blanket finished at last!  I' discovered I'd made an error on the previous row right at the point where I was making the last stitches of the blanket.  There was no way I was ripping the final row out so I scratched my head and managed to make a little adjustment to allow me to finish it.  Hopefully I'm the only one who'd ever notice.

P.S. Found my spirit animal in that middle Christmas dec ;-))
