Autumnal

TT was off to work, as it was Open Day.  I was pottering with the usual chores while expecting BB to appear at some point.  H eventually clarified that he wouldn’t arrive until lunchtime, so late morning I popped out to pick up a few bits and pieces.
As predicted he appeared for a quick lunch, dropped his stuff off and headed back out to rugby.

I had some lunch, then I took a longer walk via the river to rugby.  It was a lovely afternoon, and would have walked further, had I not promised BB I would go and watch the game. It was a really lovely afternoon for being a spectator.  TT appeared back at half time, having slipped away after his afternoon talk. What can I say about the game.  The opposition were physical aggressive, and pretty dirty players.   They had a man sent off, and a number of yellow cards – there should have been more.  There were lots of dangerous high tackles.  BB said that the referee didn’t have a grip on the game and at times he feared for his life!  Two players came off with suspected concussion.  That probably gives you a flavour of the game and the atmospheres.  All in all our team played well and fairly and they won.  Phew!!  TT and I headed home after the game, we didn’t see BB until much later which meant he stayed over.

TT made a chicken and a veggie curry for tea – and very nice they were too.  Later we started to watch Hijack, and are now a couple of episodes in.

This track is nearby, and the trees are starting to look very autumnal.
