A Late Butterfly

A lot more admin today to rest my rib injury, but I did get out in the garden this afternoon for just under an hour to lightly prune and shape a large shrub (no bending or stretching required). It was lovely outside, such a shame I couldn't go out somewhere and enjoy it. Having said that it was good to get a lot of admin up to date and get up to date with The Archers! I also did some of my latest jigsaw. 

I hope you got to see the Northern Lights last night, it was the first time I'd ever seen them. It was frustrating in the early evening to get photos of them from family and friends around the Milton Keynes area as it was cloudy in Holt. The cloud cleared about 10:15 and although the activity level per my Aurora Watch app had fallen significantly, I did get some photos on my iPhone in my garden using a 2s exposure, and could just see a hint of colour with the naked eye - what a treat! I've added a couple as extras. I wish I'd stayed up as the level shot up per my app around midnight.
