Juvenile cormorant

A very peopley day today. A former colleague came over and we had a walk around the lake on my lunchbreak (spotted this young cormorant on the way round), then I had my Russian lesson straight after work, and in the evening I was out morris dancing. 

The highlight though was getting back from dancing at about 10 pm and seeing a strange red colour in the sky. Turned out to be the northern lights - something I have wanted to see for as long as I can remember!
