I've had my eye on these for a possible blip for several days now.  There are a lot in the reserve.  Loving their colours and brightness, today seemed to be the right moment - especially as I had very little time and these beauties don't run away when you show them the camera ;))

The rest of the day's been spent with friends, which has been lovely.
