The woods were full of magic

Today was not the first day of our workshop, but you could have fooled me.

Mark collected me from my hotel at 9. (Remind me not to return to the Premier Inn West in Inverness ever again….) he already had Andy in the car. We met with Joe, who had Marie-Ange, Chris and Dan in his van. He had collected them from the airport.

We had to travel to Gairloch. Mark found wonderful places for us to stop and shoot. The light was perfect and there was no wind.

We eventually arrived in Gairloch at 1745!

Our hotel has good views over to Skye, but we are on the back of the building.

Tomorrow we are having a gentle day so breakfast is at 0730!

The highlights today were the light on the birch leaves as they change colour and the brown berries. Both are in my main blip.then there are other images too.
