Today is cold, dry and overcast. It was 16c early this morning in the living room.

I have been out for the newspaper and fed the garden birds, The regular visitors have been eating from the bird table and seed feeders. Magpies, hungry starlings, pigeons and a rare glimpse of coal tits and a dear little robin.
We are watching Renovation Nation, a fascinating show about enterprising people transformng
beautiful old properties. There are challenges they face, such as funding and plumbing.
