Watching the rain.

The Feast Day of Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque. Born July 22nd 1647. Died 17th October 1690.
This dear Saint is patron saint of devotees of the Sacred Heart, Polio patients, and invoked against the death of parents.

As I am writing this and listening to godtv, the rain is making it's presence known. It is steady, loud and has been with us since about 8am this morning. I have only cautiously been out once today, to put some granary bread in the garden for the hungry pigeons.
Hunter has been outside and then returned quickly. Tabby cat Holly has been sitting happily sheltered under a green garden chair. She refuses to come in.
We are awaiting a book of piano cords to be delivered for Paul.
If it stops raining as forecast by about 4pm I may go for a walk and clear up some of the orange leaves shed from the Cherry tree on the front lawn.
