Rubbish

Today was ponds volunteering afternoon where the main activity was clearing rubbish. Some local youths have taken to removing wheelie bins and setting them on fire, this is the 3rd one in the area. One has fused itself into the footpath, another not so bad on a muddy bit and this one in front of a popular bench. We'd actually cleared away a lot of charred branches and quite a lot of bits of metal and stuff like above before I remembered to take a pic! There was a lot that was fused together and unmoveable though we hope it will loosen with time. In total 5 bags of rubbish were removed.
The extra is a much nicer fungus and we did see the swans and some moorhens but no more cute wee mice.
