Bargain sari dresses

I had a busy day meeting up with two friends who were colleagues many many years ago when we worked in Southall.
I first went to Ealing where I walked around the area where I also taught previously, that school is now a Sixth Form College. The area around has changed a lot. I then made my first trip on the Elizabeth line to Southall.
We went for lunch in a nice vegetarian Indian restaurant and had very tasty gosas at a good price. We then walked around the area and had a look at all the products on sale.
There are many more dress shops both quite cheap ones, like these sari type outfits for £30 and much more ornate expensive dresses. A good place to go if you are invited to a Hindu wedding and need about three or four outfits for the different ceremonies! There were also lots of shops selling fabrics.
We also noticed that they still have all the high street banks..maybe a lot of cash is used for shopping and needs to be banked? There seemed to be less little cafe/coffee shops where you used to get nice samosa and pastries.
On the way back I went  to Heathrow bus station, on the Elizabeth line again, and then the SL7 bus which only stops once before Teddington.

I’ve walked a lot so feeling rather weary.
