Culross

Even though it’s not peak season, the gardens at Culross Palace remain enchanting. I’ve never seen a garden terraced so high, nor lavender and rosemary bushes so huge. Espaliers and tiny spots for sitting in the garden to look over the rooftops to the sea…it must be gorgeous in the spring when flowers are in bloom.

What a treat to visit this old, old town, learn a bit of its history, and walk in its cobblestone streets.
