Angle Shades

Today was not a good day for blippers - grey and damp and dingy, so probably not a great day for moths at the end of their flight time either.  I found this pretty angle shades on the stair carpet.  Perhaps it had come in to keep dry.  It was very docile and let me transfer it first onto my finger then onto a piece of bark lying around in the porch from some forgotten walk.  I thought a natural background would be good, but I'm not sure I couldn't have done better with a little thought.  Still, here we are!

The rest of the day has been busy but rather ineffectual.  I'm quite glad to get to the end of it, to be honest.  Wishing us all a kindly evening and a brighter day tomorrow  xx
