Birthday Tea

The Covid has gone and the sun shone for my birthday. The weather was so mild we didn’t need coats. I had a very relaxed day, and my sister and niece joined me for a lovely afternoon tea at a place I hadn’t been to before but had heard good things about from locals - the Braxted Bakery, which is a little off the beaten track down the country lanes. What a gem - I shall certainly go there again. Reasonably priced and all food freshly made on the premises. I’ve had flowers, cards and gifts, and am now prone on the sofa with no need to eat again today. A good day :-)
