Wheelie Good Fun

Gales blowing all day, dull too.  It was dry in the morning, but rain started after 11am.  Eased off in the afternoon, more rain tonight.

Arrived at work, headed out on the toon essykert again with Philip and Craig.  Black bag bins this morning around Lerwick, then paper and cardboard recycling around some residential streets.  By lunchtime we were in Scalloway on paper recycling waste.  Walkies with Sammy after work, popped by Madeline's for a cuppa.  Another relaxing evening at home. I managed another walk with Sammy, stayed fairly dry.  Feet up before bed.

We got the big essykert (bin lorry) back today, and powered through the Lerwick runs this morning.  By the time we arrived in Scalloway, the rain was heavy and we got soaked.  You could let it get you down, but we didn't, we spoke nonsense, chatted and got through it with smiles on our faces.  16,500 steps in work, finished at 22,400 tonight.  I wouldn't have got that step count otherwise today.  Tried to get a photo of Craig (Duncan) emptying my wheelie bin, as you can see, he was having a wheelie good time.  Taken at Hawthorn Cottage gate, Houl Road, Scalloway.
