I often admire

other people’s blips of a pathway disappearing into the distance. It’s one of my favourite images, a bit metaphorical I suppose. This is walking into the city centre - the very full river Avon raging along on my left - and some quite ugly industrial buildings on my right. 
In the morning I had a zoom (actually a whats app video call) with my old work team, which was lovely. Then I walked into the centre - just to do the steps, and enjoy the sunshine - I didn’t need anything. In the afternoon I made a huge batch of nut roast for the freezer.  I went off piste and added mushrooms and grated apple (still got so many!) and it turned out good. Also, I’ve been listening to the test match in Pakistan, which had been fascinating.
