Turn Your Radio On

First thing we need to do when we get to the theatre is a mic check, before the house is opened to the public. Those in Act 1will be in costume, those only in the later Acts will probably still be in their civvies.
The important thing is to ensure the transmitter pack is actually turned on. So far I have forgotten to do this on 2 out of 5 occasions! On the plus side, I have only ever had to utter a couple of lines each time for the tech team to process themselves happy. The course I went on which taught me where and how the mic should be positioned for best results was obviously time well spent (I should probably point out that it was a course about all aspects of theatre sound, not just how to wear a mic!)
Only two performances left now and then I can move on to the next show!
