A Lavender Smile…

… Here, up (kind of) North, all of the gardening wisdom is utterly awry this year. We ‘should’ have cut this back around Aug/Sept but ours is just looking at its best about now. And the fragrance is divine. (All very well but it pushes all the jobs back. Seasons? All over the place!).

We should have been at a talk this evening in Manchester but, the Speaker has Covid. So, it’s still Chip Night and Music Night here! (Some you win!). And the wine forecast is pretty spot on too.

The Elderlies are a law unto themselves.
One has just thanked me (again) for some warm vests I sent a couple of months ago (we’ve already talked about them, many times!). And the other? Took to bed mid afternoon and has no idea that we celebrated a birthday together a couple of days ago… Dementia is such a painful thing. (Maybe mostly most for the witnesses?).
Groundhog Days…
But still, appreciating life, and all of its challenges.
