and so it begins

Today was both interesting and significant. Rufus and I spent several hours in the garden at Sue and Mark's villa, (where Rufus stayed in July while I was in Istanbul). Rufus spent his time exploring, communing with their  dogs, and relaxing by the pool in the sunshine. Mark and I spent our time drinking coffee and planning our road trip to get Rufus and Babe back to Blighty. Rufus of course, because we will spend the winter, as last year, in Chelmsford.  The second dog is Babe, adopted earlier this year from the streets of Didim, and fostered by Sue and Mark until she is now finally ready to make the journey to her forever home, also in Essex. 

I already have compiled several 'To Do' lists, and an evening spent with Netflix binge watching The Lincoln Lawyer Series 3 did little to calm the butterflies that have taken wing in my abdomen.
