RHS pumpkins
This morning I went with a friend to RHS Wisley. The M25 junction with M3 was closed so we had a quick journey both ways. Although there was a bit of drizzle we were surprised at how few people were there.
A very nice pumpkin display, bigger than in previous years and it also included lots of seed heads etc.
The Hilltop area was closed as there was filming going on for a film/ TV series. They are filming in parts of the gardens all week but we were unable to find out what it is!
Lots of lovely autumn colour and lots of cyclamens and nice displays in the alpine house and the orchid house too.
The shop was full of Christmas things which I managed to avoid but I did buy some prepared hyacinth bulbs ( meant to flower by Christmas) to plant for a gift for a friend.
This afternoon I have been struggling with aspects of my online Life Story…they had an upgrade of the platform last week…supposedly with improvements but I’m finding it less easy to use and some of the 40 ‘answers’ I have completed now need revising as they were edited to fit on 2 pages and now go over to 3. I’ve been in touch with support desk three times already!
We are still missing Libby and I am slowly giving away some of her things. Today I washed the baby bath we used for washing her and will take it to Farah Kids charity shop tomorrow! My daughter is taking some of the dog food to a food bank.
Currently watching the Indoor Cycling…GB doing well but not good news about Chris Hoy having terminal cancer.
