United Nations

Seven of us for lunch at Heather's, and seven nations represented, not including the Indian food, and the Italian dessert. And then, tonight, at Sem Fim, at least four more (gets a bit complicated with some people, to know what country they are representing). What we have in common is the English language (of various sorts). And that we live in the Alentejo.

Gratefuls:
- the first of our new harvest of grapefruit for breakfast; the last of the last one was getting a bit dried out, and this one was still a bit sour, but still, pretty good to go straight from one harvest to the next
- the most incredible colours as the sun set over the Lake, the water mirror like, reds and oranges and blues; stunning show, and then, moonlight sparkling on the water as we came home
- our new neighbours joining us at Sem Fim, and fitting right in
