And I want it painted black

We are on a summer roll, another unseasonably warm sunny day with lots of blue sky and balmy breezes • With the deck mostly done, I turned my attention to the front doors. They are white and we want them black to match the storm door, thus the Stones’ reference :) One door has a first coat and I hope to start the other one tomorrow. The race is on as I want to get them finished before the cold creeps back in • It was lovely being at the river for a while this afternoon. Why these berry trees aren’t loaded with birds is a mystery. They must be saving them for a winter treat? • Potatoes are peeled and the Brussel sprouts ready for roasting :) • Peace & Love
