The Pretenders

Another day to explore Nottingham,  so we headed into the city for breakfast, this time at The Fox cafe - fab menu of tasty sandwiches.  Then, after sheltering from a downpour we headed to the Trent canal for a lovely walk.  We went as  far as the marina before heading back.  The beautiful autumn leaves feature in the extra.

It was soon time for the Pretenders show. G professed not to like The Pretenders, but even he said that he loved the show.  The guitarist was excellent and Chrissy Hind, despite her age, still has a great stage presence and a voice that hasn't aged. The set was a good mix of classic Pretenders and more modern songs. So other than an ignorant man, who repeatedly used the flash on his phone to video parts of the show, it was great. A super venue and a thoroughly enjoyable show.
