Funny Girl

Tonight’s entertainment was seeing the comedian Maisie Adam at the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal. It’s her first solo tour, which might explain why she played the theatre rather than the leisure centre, which is where most of the comedians appear when they come to Kendal.
Whatever, the show was completely sold out and the Brewery Arts Centre is a far nicer venue - it’s a proper theatre for a start - than the draughty old converted sports hall on the other side of town.
She was very funny and we were laughing throughout - although she did reckon we were a bit of a weird audience! All in all, a great night out.
