Byzantine Chapel Agios Yorgos

Together with Sweetheart's friends of old times, we went into the mountains to visit various old chapels from Byzantine times and in some we did see the icons/ frescoes painted on its walls; unfortunately they all are in poor state, but it's a special to see them.

This chapel, named Agios Yorgos, was not opened and we don't know how the condition of its frescoes is. I do like the growth of green on its walls! and the three friends around the little church.

Altho' we did not spot icons here, we did find hands full of delicious fallen and ripe black olives... just spit on them to take of the dust and eat them;  full of olive flesh and with a nice bitter taste, they didn't need salt on them that tasty they were! We took a handful with us as bite on our route.
