Hey! Did you happen to see...

An early rise as Kevin and young Ryan, the painters, were arriving at 8am to get started on painting the garden room.  Lola was very excited to see them but thankfully once we'd closed the bi-fold doors between the two rooms, she lost interest.

Our friend Carole (Lola's breeder but we knew her way before that :-) arrived just before 10am to give Lola a haircut and pedicure.  Lola was VERY excited to see her too!  

Tea and bacon rolls with Carole after she'd turned Lola from an explosion of fluff into a well trimmed pooch.  Lovely to catch up with her.

Once Carole was gone I couldn't resist taking Lola in to the garden to get some pics of her while she was all neat and tidy (look at her lion cub paws :-)  Usually Carole trims her then she goes straight out for her morning walk and comes back filthy (Lola that is, not Carole :-) so I miss my chance.  For that reason I am blipping her again today even though I blipped her just a few days ago.

Kevin and Ryan got the garden room finished and tomorrow will start on the kitchen.  I am excited but a bit nervous about seeing the colour we've chosen on the walls.  Hick's Blue is definitely a statement colour.  Here's hoping it's a statement I want to make!  :-))
