More fall colors

Stayed on the Dartmouth side of the harbor today for work, thank goodness. After 6 days straight of dealing with traffic getting to Halifax and lots of road construction on the Halifax side too, I needed the break from traffic.
It was foggy most of the day and the temperature was around 15 C. Nice for working and mild for this time of year. We still have not had a killing frost. The fog started to lift this afternoon and I was able to get this photo of the reflections on the lake.
A quiet day today, after the drama of the last couple of days. A had a flat tire on his car this morning so he had to take the day off to get that fixed. He drives a Mustang with custom rims, so it is not easy to find the right sized tires. That left me with Q and G as the only helpers today. Both are good, steady workers. G just started this week but he has worked landscaping jobs in the past. When Al called me today, he said that G is almost on a par with him, which is high praise.
I added an extra photo of the sunset tonight, it was red for a short time. Some rain in the forecast for overnight, and it is raining now. The skies opened a few minutes ago.
An update to that horrific incident at Walmart on the weekend. They have identified the victim as a 19 year old girl who came to Canada 2 years ago, she is a member of the Sikh community. Her mother also worked at the store and it was her mother who found her. The store remains closed and the investigation continues.
