The Best Person

I love being this little boy's mum. It's a great honour to be able to spend time with him each day. He is such a happy child and despite keeping me busy, he's a privilege to raise.

We had a friend come round this morning with her youngest son. The two boys had a lot of fun together. Little Man enjoyed the company. We going to have another friend round after lunch, but she cancelled. We had a food delivery arrive, which was lovely because it meant that I didn't have to bike home with a little person on my bike, and the shopping. The freezer is fuller and we have things in the fridge. Over the next few weeks, I'm going to be doing some large online shops, for the things that are hard to bring home on the bike.

The afternoon was spend doing some laundry and hanging out at home. It's been great not having to go bike anywhere. Four days in a row has been exhausting and I want to give my legs a rest.
