Owlcotes

Sorry not a very inspired blip today though I did think it was quite a nice display at the M&S store Owlcotes,  Pudsey. (Yes as in Pudsey  bear )

I went to singling as usual this morning, Chris had the dentist.  More Christmas singing, mainly aimed at singing at Ripon Cathedral at the end of November. We went in April so won’t be going this time. We did a different version of ‘Carol of the Bells’ which our leader had been working on all weekend.  It works so hopefully it will be good.

Chris picked me up and instead of heading to our usual food store we went to Owlcotes as they have clothing too. I had a voucher to spend on various basic items of clothing and also managed to pick up a present for s i l John.

We had a coffee and a short food shop before coming home.

I’ve been doing a new to me jigsaw as I dismantled the last one yesterday - extra. The border around the scene of Pooh Sticks was quite tricky especially the curvy black lines. I’m now doing the Amalfi coast at night! Borders and the foreground are fine  but the town on the hill behind is lit and a bit out of focus!

More singing soon, starting our carols for our church Christmas Carol service. One we’ve done before and the other is a Rutter, always a bit of a challenge but usually beautiful. 

It’s coming like it or not but at least we're getting Halloween out of the way this week!
